Just an update

Found this Lebanese grill house called Sabra Grill. It serves halal meats (laaaaamb and chicken), besides others such as falafel, homus, baba ghanoush and kebabs. It also serves vegetarian dishes and salads. Here is the shawarma. The picture wasn't well taken and isn't doing justice to the quality of the shawarma. The guy there is also extremely friendly. It's just across the road from Taubman building on 20 Elliot Street.

Additionally, if you scroll down to the list of bloggers' links, you will find a 3t blog. It belongs to our friend none other than Bora. He is picking up the IT bugs and he's on the roll. Soon he'll be the class' techie. Do visit. He is controlling the access for the time being for his LKY Fellows and HKS friends. You must have received an invitation by now, if not do ask him for one.

HKS Picture Report

The studio unit at Marriott RI by Kendall Square. Others were taken around Cambridge and HKS. THL does not look out of place standing behind that podium. (Taken by THL, source: MPM2008 Face Book)

New Yorkers Are in Town

Kenneth and Shuyu took the Greyhound to visit us here in Cambridge/Boston. We missed their persona in the past few days. Took two tables on the upstairs section of Charlie's Beer Garden as the open air bar was crowded. The tables immediately turned loud and lively. Enjoy the weekend in Massachusetts.

Orientation for LKY Fellows 2008 Concluded

Breakfast at Hanrieta's Table was sumptuous filled by the intervals of kind welcoming words from Ken Winston and John Thomas. Library and security orientation followed before the Fellows were welcomed by the Dean of Students. Pictures also show people, including LKY Fellows, shuffling along the registration line.
